Excellent. Just had them out to repair a problem created by another heating and cooling company. This company replaced my whole HVAC system a couple of years ago. I got the system I wanted with a higher SEER rating and it cost $1,800 less than 4 other companies. They do little advertising. They are top rated in Checkbook Magazine for costs and quality and apparently that keeps them very busy.

We've used Shanahan's several times and give them the highest of recommendations. Our AC blew out during the 100 degree plus heat wave. We called on a Sunday and they returned our call that very day and sent a technician out the following morning. They pinpointed the problem and the repairs came to well under what we were fearing. They don't try to upsell you unless it's really needed!

Shanahan's has been my heating and cooling company for 20 years or so. It's a family-owned company, and each of their family members and employees take great pride in providing wonderful, timely service for a reasonable price. Just recently, my hot water heater began to unload in my basement. I couldn't close the shut-off valve at the top of the unit, so as water leaked out of the bottom it continued to fill with water at the top. I was beside myself. Not only did Shanahan's send someone out to help with the “frozen“ shut-off valve, but before I knew it, a truck pulled up with my brand new water heater! And the nightmare was over! They left my home spotless and I had hot water within thirty minutes! I highly recommend this company, and they'll continue to be my guys for as long as I live in this area. Where do you get that kind of service anymore? Shanahan's!

We have been using Shanahan's for about ten years now and two different houses. The servicemen that come out are always very nice and do an amazing job trying to get things fixed ASAP! Why is it these things always break on the hottest or the coldest of days?? We also have been amazed at their willingness to try and fix things when they can be fixed, not just immediately tell us we need a new system, which is what happened with our last company. We have recommended them to several friends and neighbors here in Brambleton, and all have been equally pleased with their service. You don't ever want your HVAC company to remember you, because that means they come out too often....but we are grateful in this case, because it means they take care of their customers!

I just received excellent service from Shanahan's and wanted to share my experience. I discovered that my laundry room floor had become saturated with water, either from my AC or hot water heater, and called Shanahan's about it this morning. Within 2 hours of my call, a service technician was at my house. He diagnosed and corrected the problem and also fixed my non-working gas fireplace in short order, all for a reasonable price. Also, the dispatcher with whom I spoke was very friendly and worked to accommodate the service visit with my work schedule. I am very relieved to have this problem taken care of so quickly!

We have used Shanahan's for 16 years and they have always done a great job for a reasonable price. Their technicians are very knowledgeable and always have quickly diagnosed and rectified the issue. They have replaced two AC compressors, made furnace repairs and even installed the duct system when we finished the basement of our house. If only all of our contractors could be so fine!
